Tijdens een event georganiseerd door Apple heeft de Amerikaanse techgigant uit de doeken gedaan welke apps uit de App Store het beste scoorden. Apple stond stil bij diverse categorieën. Bijvoorbeeld welke iPhone, welke iPad en welke Mac apps het beste scoorden.
Men verlangt duidelijk naar een betere en uitgebreidere camera-app als we de winnaar zien in de categorie iPhone. Dat is dit jaar Spectre Camera van Lux Optics geworden. Met deze app kun je op veel meer mogelijke manieren een foto maken in vergelijking met de standaard camera-app op iOS. Een andere eervolle vermelding is voor Minecraft. Dit was de populairste game in de categorie betaalde spellen.
Op de iPad is het streamen van content populair. YouTube staat op nummer één, maar ook streaming apps als Netflix, Amazon Prime Video en Hulu staan in de top 5 van populairste gratis iPad-apps van dit jaar. Het volledige lijstje kun je hieronder bekijken.
