Na Bob Ross, Julia Child en Doctor Who gaat Twitch weer een nieuwe serie van begin tot eind streamen.
Pokémon: wie is er niet mee opgegroeid? Ik moet eerlijk bekennen dat ik zelf na een paar seizoenen ben afgehaakt, dus in dat opzicht is het goed nieuws dat Twitch 19 seizoenen én 16 films live gaat streamen. Mocht je onderweg dus ergens een aflevering gemist hebben, dan kun je bij Twitch terecht om ze alsnog te zien.

De stream start maandag 27 augustus met Pokémon: Indigo League, niet geheel toevallig het allereerste Pokémon-seizoen ooit. Hier zie je hoe Ash Ketchum 10 jaar oud wordt en zijn eerste Pokémon mag kiezen. Uiteindelijk verslaapt hij zich en wordt hij opgescheept met Pikachu. Dit seizoen werd in Nederland voor het eerst uitgezonden in 1999.
Twitch is tot diep in 2019 bezig met het uitzenden van Pokémon en heeft dus al aangekondigd dat er af en toe een kleine break ingelast wordt. Zo is er op het Twitch Presents-kanaal af en toe ook iets te zien voor Pokémon-haters.
